AME Celebrates 30 Years with Launch of Inaugural Greater China Awards Executive Jury

New York, NY – As the AME Awards marks its 30th anniversary, a pivotal celebration of marketing and advertising effectiveness, New York Festices has introduced an esteemed Executive Jury for the inaugural AME Greater China Awards. This panel, comprising notable leaders from the Chinese advertising sector, boasts members recognized for their innovative strategies that not only meet marketing challenges but also inspire significant actions and deliver measurable outcomes.

This expert jury panel from Greater China is set to judge this year’s submissions through a two-step rigorous process. Initially, they will convene online to curate a shortlist of contenders, setting the stage for the main event: a live deliberation scheduled to take place in late July at Shanghai Jiaotong University, where the winners will be decreed.

Gayle Seminara Mandel, VP executive director of AME Awards & AME Greater China Awards, expressed her enthusiasm about the formation of this formidable jury. “Having such a deeply experienced and distinguished panel is tremendous. Their insight into the essential role of effectiveness in our industry will be invaluable in recognizing truly impactful and innovative work,” she stated.

Leading the jury is Ida Siow from Ogilvy Asia, serving as the Jury President. Accompanying her are several other influential figures, including Alice Chou from Dentsu Creative, Michael Dee from United Communications Group, and Yorf Guo from BlueFocus Group. Other jury members hail from diverse backgrounds such as advertising, creative and strategic execution, showcasing a blend of experience that promises a holistic evaluation of entries.

The deliberations will begin on July 10, allowing the panel ample time to review and discuss the entries before announcing the winners. These sessions provide an opportunity for senior creatives and strategists to weigh the creative merits and the effectiveness of each campaign in engaging the audience and meeting the clients’ objectives.

The greater emphasis of the AME Awards on marketing effectiveness turns the spotlight on campaigns that not only catch the eye but also achieve real business results. It’s a distinction that sets apart creations that successfully blend creativity with practical marketing prowess.

The results from this jury’s assessments will contribute to the 2024 AME Report, an annual publication that ranks outstanding agencies and brands from across the globe and will include a special focus on entities in Greater China. This report serves as a barometer for the industry, offering insights into creative trends and effectiveness that resonate on a global scale.

Entrants have until July 7 to submit their works for consideration in the competition, with further details and guidelines available on the official AME website. This deadline underscores the anticipation and competitive spirit within the sector, pushing agencies and brands to showcase their best work.

Ultimately, the AMEN Awards and its newly formed jury in Greater China are set to commend and celebrate advertisements that are not just creative but are demonstrably effective in accomplishing business goals, thereby setting new benchmarks for achievement in the realms of advertising and marketing across the region.
