LOS ANGELES, California — The Hollywood Reporter is now accepting nominations for its 18th annual Power Lawyers feature, which ranks the top attorneys in the entertainment industry. To nominate someone for consideration, submit a form by 6 p.m. PT on February 16.
Each year, the editors at THR review hundreds of nominations and carefully vet candidates to compile a list of the lawyers Hollywood relies on for significant legal battles and groundbreaking talent deals. When submitting nominations, it is important to highlight the attorney’s accomplishments from the past year, focusing on recent and ongoing work such as closed deals or significant litigation wins.
While there is no word limit for nominations, brevity is appreciated. It is also important to note that only individual lawyers from law firms are eligible for consideration. In-house lawyers are unfortunately not eligible.
To clarify, the nominations are for individual attorneys, and duos or teams will not be highlighted. If attorneys share clients or matters, it is necessary to clearly outline their individual contributions. Submitting the same information for different attorneys on multiple forms is discouraged.
The deadline for nominations is firm, and late submissions will not be accepted. Attorneys who are chosen for the list will be notified directly by the end of March. For any further questions, you can reach out to [email protected].
