CICLOPE Festival 2024 Recognizes Latin America’s Finest Craftsmanship in Spectacular Awards Show

Cancer Before Cancer, an impactful campaign by Fundación Peruana de Cáncer, emerged as the recipient of the prestigious Grand Prix at the 2024 CICLOPE Festival in São Paulo, Brazil. This remarkable event, showcasing the very essence of Latin American craftsmanship, celebrated the region’s most talented creative minds. Over two days, industry leaders gathered to exchange ideas, forge connections, and honor outstanding achievements in various craft categories, such as direction, cinematography, production design, editing, VFX, animation, and fashion film.

Rebeca and Agosto Music & Sound Craft, in collaboration with advertising agency Fahrenheit DDB, deserve immense recognition for their exceptional work on Cancer Before Cancer. Roddy Dextre, the gifted director, skillfully helmed this thought-provoking campaign. Notably, Julian Estrada played a vital role as the Director of Photography, while Luciana Masias contributed her expertise as the Production Designer. Alejandro Noriega served as the Executive Producer, with Sergio Franco assuming the role of Executive Creative Director. The impressive VFX and editing were masterfully executed by Nativo Studio, accompanied by the musical direction of Claudia Incio and sound design by Charly García.

Beyond the Grand Prix, the CICLOPE Festival acknowledged other noteworthy accomplishments. PRIMO, the production company, received a well-deserved Special Award, highlighting their exceptional contributions to the industry. Likewise, Publicis was recognized as the Agency of the Year, showcasing their commitment to delivering outstanding creative campaigns. Directors Nico Pérez Veiga and Roddy Dextre also received a Special Award for their exceptional talent and dedication to their craft.
