Iowa Law Enforcement Swarm Remsen Area in Search for Abducted 7-Year-Old; Suspect at Large

REMSCEN, Iowa – Law enforcement agencies in northwest Iowa are currently responding to a live incident that is believed to be connected to an AMBER Alert issued earlier this week. The Iowa State Patrol has confirmed that they are actively searching the area near Sunset Avenue and 160th Street, located between Remsen and Marcus. This ongoing situation involves the search for a man suspected to be Brandon Duong, who allegedly abducted 7-year-old Bryson Duong from Greene County, Iowa. The authorities have reason to believe that Brandon is on foot in one of the adjacent fields.

Brandon’s involvement in a vehicle pursuit on Tuesday night is an additional factor that has heightened concerns. The pursuit came to an end when law enforcement discovered the crashed vehicle near the intersection of 160th and Sunset. In response to the seriousness of the situation, the Iowa State Patrol has deployed their negotiator and tactical team to the area, intensifying their efforts to locate both Brandon and the missing child.

Presently, no new details have been officially released by the authorities. Law enforcement agencies are coordinating their efforts to ensure a swift and effective resolution to this heartbreaking incident. As more information becomes available, we will continue to update this article.
