Krystyna Pyszkov Makes History as Miss World 2024: A Beauty Queen, Lawyer, and Philanthropist

MUMBAI, India – Krystyna Pyszkova, a 24-year-old beauty queen from the Czech Republic, has been crowned as the winner of Miss World 2024. The prestigious title was awarded to her at a grand ceremony held in Mumbai. Pyszkova, who is also a lawyer and runs a school for underprivileged children, impressed the judges with her grace and intelligence. She was crowned by last year’s winner, Karolina Bielawska of Poland.

The Miss World 2024 pageant, which drew participants from 111 countries, marked the return of the beauty contest to India after 28 years. The event showcased the talent and beauty of women from around the world.

Pyszkova, who is based in Prague, Czech Republic, represented her country in the Miss World competition. Apart from her modeling career, she is also pursuing two degrees in law and Business Administration. She has a passion for philanthropy and has established an English school for underprivileged children in Tanzania, where she volunteers her time.

In addition to her academic and philanthropic pursuits, Pyszkova is also a talented musician. She plays the Transverse flute and the violin and has spent nine years at an Art Academy, fueling her passion for the arts.

The runner-up position was awarded to Yasmina Zaytoun of Lebanon, who also impressed the judges with her poise and beauty. The event, held at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai, was hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. The panel of judges included Kriti Sanon, Manushi Chhillar, Pooja Hegde, Harbhajan Singh, Rajat Sharma, Amruta Fadnavis, Vineet Jain, Julia Morley CBE, and Jamil Saidi.
