Robert Davis, who was a finalist for Teacher of the Year in 2018, faced charges filed in 2019 in Canadian County after a woman accused him of drugging and assaulting her. According to court records, she alleged that Davis offered her a drink during her visit to his residence, after which she began feeling dizzy and eventually passed out. The victim recounted waking up to find Davis sitting beside her on the bed. Shockingly, she awoke again wearing different clothes while Davis reportedly called out to her. Their conversation revealed Davis’s admission, responding to her accusation with the shocking admission of having spiked her drink with “peach Schnapps.”
A jury recently rendered its recommendation for Davis’s punishment, suggesting a three-year prison sentence for sexual battery and an additional two years for second-degree rape by instrumentation.
