SYDNEY, Australia – The Australasian Writers and Art Directors (AWARD) has named Liz Taylor, the renowned global chief creative officer of Ogilvy, as the jury president for this year’s AWARD Awards. Recognized as one of the industry’s most progressive creative leaders, Liz holds the distinction of being the first woman to rank number one on The Drum’s global list of the most-awarded chief creative officers.
In her role as Ogilvy’s Global CCO since 2021, Liz has overseen the network’s creative product across 131 offices in 93 countries. Her responsibilities span the company’s five business units, which include advertising, PR/social/influence, experience, consulting, and health. With almost three decades of experience, Liz has consistently pushed boundaries and raised the standards of creativity in the industry.
Expressing her appreciation for the appointment, Liz emphasized the importance of the AWARD Awards in elevating creative standards and inspiring future achievements. As the jury president for the 45th year of the prestigious awards program, she acknowledged the global significance of the AWARD Awards and felt honored by the invitation.
Liz will also take part in This Way Up, AWARD’s signature creative festival in August. Recognized as a gathering of the industry’s brightest minds, Liz described the event as the breeding ground for worthwhile opinions and an opportunity to witness the best creative work from the APAC region. She expressed enthusiasm for immersing herself in the festival’s offerings.
