Sao Paulo, Brazil – The Latin American Corporate Counsel Association (LACCA), affiliated with Latin Lawyer, is currently accepting recommendations for its prestigious LACCA Approved lawyers. In-house counsel and general counsel (GCs) throughout Latin America are invited to nominate legal professionals for this distinguished honor. The deadline for nominations is April 8.
Each year, LACCA compiles a comprehensive list of LACCA Approved lawyers, who are highly recommended by GCs and in-house counsel in various areas of practice across Latin America. Furthermore, in-house counsel also have the opportunity to recommend international legal practitioners who are actively involved in the region for LACCA Approved recognition.
Though nominations have been open to LACCA members for some time, the association is now encouraging lawyers to increase their chances of being included on the list. Lawyers are encouraged to share this information with their clients and request them to join LACCA, free of charge, to participate in the research. In-house counsel are permitted to nominate multiple lawyers in private practice in Latin America, including international lawyers operating in the region. Nominations can be submitted via the online form, as long as the client is registered with LACCA.

However, the association acknowledges the significant gender disparity in the list and aims to rectify this issue. To view the current list of LACCA Approved lawyers, please check their website.
