London, UK – The Jury Presidents for the 39th annual London International Awards (LIA) have been announced. This prestigious event will gather top industry professionals in Las Vegas from September 29 to October 7 to chair the jury panels.
Under the guidance of these Jury Presidents, the integrity of each jury will establish the creative standard for 2024 and elevate the overall quality of work in the industry.
Barbara Levy, the President of LIA, emphasized the importance of the judging process, stating that the careful selection of the Jury Presidents is crucial. Levy highlighted the diverse talent among the Presidents, each highly respected and influential in their field. They are creative individuals who are capable of distinguishing between persuasion and pure hype, resulting in the best work from 2024 that will inspire and energize the industry.
Terry Savage, LIA Chairperson, highlighted the significance of leadership in the jury, as it influences the final outcome. The LIA prides itself on selecting Jury Presidents who not only understand the work but also the cultural nuances associated with a global award show.
Approximately 200 jury members from around the world will convene in Las Vegas to participate in the judging process. All judging rounds will take place at the Encore @ Wynn Hotel, with each juror required to review every piece of work in their respective category. The jury panels will determine the recipients of Gold, Silver, and Bronze Statues, as well as the Finalists. The panels will also have the authority to award a Grand LIA.
Unlike other competitions, the LIA does not conduct any off-site pre-judging. Instead, all judges are fully engaged from the beginning to the end of the process, ensuring transparency and collective involvement in determining the final results.
The 2024 LIA Jury Presidents represent a wide range of categories and expertise. These industry leaders include Chief Creative Officers, Creative Directors, and Chief Business Development Officers from renowned advertising agencies and creative firms worldwide.
The London International Awards is one of the five global shows that are featured in the WARC Creativity 100 rankings.
