Mumbai, India – The highly anticipated Pinkvilla Screen & Style Icons Awards 2024 took place on March 18, honoring the best talents in the Hindi cinema. Among the celebrated winners were the films “OMG 2” and “12th Fail,” which took home the awards for Best Film in their respective categories.
Hosted at the prestigious Taj Lands End in Mumbai, the third season of the Pinkvilla Screen & Style Icons Awards attracted numerous Bollywood stars. It was a night of recognition and excitement as deserving artists were celebrated for their contributions to Indian cinema.
The team behind “OMG 2,” led by actor Akshay Kumar and director Amit Rai, triumphed in the Best Film Popular category. Meanwhile, “12th Fail,” helmed by director Vidhu Vinod Chopra and starring Vikrant Massey, clinched the trophy for Best Film Jury.
Both films emerged victorious in their categories among a pool of six nominees. Competing against them were “Ghoomer,” “Satyaprem Ki Katha,” “Sam Bahadur,” and “The Kerala Story.”
Besides the films, individual actors were also acknowledged for their outstanding performances. Ranbir Kapoor was crowned Best Actor Popular in the male category, while Kiara Advani claimed the honor in the female category. Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor were recognized with the Best Actor OTT awards for their exceptional acting skills.
The award for Best Director Popular went to Atlee, while Karan Johar secured the Best Director Jury accolade. In the OTT category, newcomer director Shiv Rawail walked away with the Best Director award for “The Railway Men.”
