Lelystad, Netherlands – The highly anticipated PotatoEurope 2025 event, set to unfold at the Wageningen University & Research Open Crops location, has revealed its expert jury panel for the prestigious Innovation Award. This biennial trade fair, scheduled for September 3 and 4, is in the spotlight for emphasizing cutting-edge advancements in the potato industry, in partnership with PotatoWorld magazine.
Jury members for the Innovation Award include industry leaders and specialists such as Johan Warringa, Jan Gottschall, Rob Donker, Roger de Groot, and Jaap Delleman. Each brings a unique perspective from various facets of the potato sector, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of the innovations presented at the event.
The jury is chaired by Roger de Groot, the Mayor of Noordoostpolder, who emphasized the critical role of innovation in advancing the regional potato sector, notably in Emmeloord, dubbed the World Potato City. According to de Groot, the Innovation Award not only showcases groundbreaking developments but also drives forward collaboration and progress within the industry.
In the run-up to PotatoEurope 2025, companies within the potato supply chain are invited to submit their innovative products or services.
