Renowned Advertising Expert Ramanuj Shastry Joins Grand Jury for 2024 New York Festivals Advertising Awards

Mumbai, India – Infectious Advertising’s Ramanuj Shastry has been selected as one of the Grand Jury members for the New York Festivals’ 2024 Advertising Awards. The renowned international advertising competition aims to showcase the best in communications across regional, national, and continental boundaries.

Scott Rose, the Executive Director of the NYF Advertising Awards, expressed his confidence in Shastry’s appointment, stating that his 25 years of creative leadership and industry expertise make him a valuable asset to the Grand Jury panel. Shastry has gained recognition for his award-winning work and his experience in crafting campaigns for prestigious global brands.

Ramanuj Shastry, the Creative Chairman of Infectious Advertising, expressed his excitement about being chosen as a juror for the 2024 edition of the esteemed New York Festivals of Advertising. He looks forward to witnessing tremendous ideas from around the world and engaging in discussions with some of the finest minds in the business.

Shastry has an impressive background in advertising, having accumulated over 25 years of experience. He honed his skills at Ogilvy and McCann before serving as the Chief Creative Officer at Publicis Ambience, Rediffusion Y&R, and Saatchi & Saatchi. In 2013, he co-founded Infectious Advertising with Nisha Singhania.

Throughout his career, Shastry has won numerous Indian and international awards for his work. In 2010, he served on the film jury at Cannes Lions. With over 200 ad films to his name, some of his notable campaigns include “Thanda Matlab Coca-Cola,” “Saffola – Kal Se,” and “OLX – Bech De.” He also previously served as a Jury Member for the New York Festivals in 2021.

The official deadline to enter the 2024 New York Festivals Advertising Awards is April 5, with an extended deadline until April 26, 2024. The competition receives entries from more than 60 countries, and the judging process involves over 400 members of NYF’s Executive Jury and Grand Jury. Together, they cast their votes to determine the world’s best advertising.
