Yuma Man Facing Multiple Felony Charges After Allegedly Setting Apartment on Fire

YUMA, Ariz. – A Yuma man has been indicted by a grand jury for allegedly setting his apartment on fire. Agustin Vera, 44, appeared in court and now faces nine felony charges, including aggravated assault and endangerment. The indictment follows charges filed against him last month. Vera, who pleaded not guilty to all charges, has been provided representation from the public defender’s office. He is scheduled to appear in court again on March 8th for a case management conference, which will determine if he can be released provisionally during his court proceedings.
