Background Actor Files Lawsuit Against British Actress Mia Goth and Film Studio for Assault and Wrongful Termination

Los Angeles, CA – A background actor involved in a movie has filed a lawsuit against British actress Mia Goth, accusing her of battery and playing a role in his unjust termination from the film. The lawsuit also names the film’s director, Ti West, and studio A24.

According to court documents obtained by People, the background actor, identified as James Hunter, stated in the lawsuit that he was contracted for a three-day period in April to portray a “Dad Parishioner” in the A24 horror film. Hunter alleges that during a scene, he was instructed to lie in the dirt for several hours while Mia Goth ran past him. He claims that Goth came dangerously close to stepping on him and then intentionally kicked him in the head with her foot.

Following the incident, Hunter reported experiencing a headache and stiffness in his neck. He communicated this to the second assistant director, and the information was relayed to Goth and West. Despite Hunter’s discomfort, filming continued until the scene was completed. Hunter also alleges that Goth invaded his privacy in the set bathroom, laughing, taunting, mocking, and belittling him.

The next day, Hunter received an email from a casting agency informing him that he had been removed for the remaining two days of production and was banned from the movie set without any explanation.

In the lawsuit, Hunter is seeking $250,000 for medical expenses, rehabilitation, and related costs, as well as punitive and/or exemplary damages.

The lawsuit against Mia Goth, Ti West, and A24 alleges battery, unjust termination, and on-set harassment. Hunter claims that Goth’s actions not only caused him physical harm but also led to his removal from the film. The background actor is seeking compensation for his medical expenses and other damages.

This incident highlights the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful working environment on movie sets. Allegations of misconduct and harassment should be taken seriously and thoroughly investigated to ensure the well-being of all cast and crew members.
