QUEENS, NY – Rapper Kodak Black is currently embroiled in a legal battle with a limousine company based in Queens, NY. I&D Concierge is suing the rapper for allegedly owing them over $600,000 in transportation service fees. According to court documents obtained by HipHopDX, the company claims that between September 2018 and December 2023, Kodak accumulated monthly bills ranging from $150,000 to $200,000.
In response to the lawsuit, Bradford Cohen, Kodak’s attorney, argues that I&D took advantage of his client during a difficult period in his life. Cohen asserts that the company exploited Kodak when he was dealing with personal challenges.
However, this is not the only controversy surrounding Kodak Black. Earlier this year, a dispute between Kodak and fellow rapper Jackboy allegedly led to a fatal shooting outside a Jackboy concert in Sanford, FL. According to the Miami Herald, the incident resulted in the death of Princess Tolliver and left others injured. Police clarified that neither Kodak Black nor Jackboy were directly involved in the shooting.
Following the tragic event, law enforcement arrested 13 individuals who were allegedly members of the OTF gang. However, Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma emphasized that there is no evidence implicating Kodak Black or Jackboy in the shooting and neither has been charged.
As the legal and personal battles unfold, fans and followers are closely watching for resolutions that bring peace and justice. Kodak Black’s situation serves as a reminder of the volatile nature of the celebrity world, where fortunes can change rapidly.
