London International Awards Unveils Diverse and Respected Jury Presidents for 2024, Setting the Creative Benchmark for the Industry

Las Vegas, NV – The London International Awards (LIA), an esteemed event in its 39th year, has revealed the distinguished individuals who will serve as Jury Presidents for the 2024 edition. From September 29th to October 7th, the LIA brings together top industry professionals in Las Vegas to lead the jury panels and set the creative standard for the year. This lineup of influential leaders aims to elevate the quality of work in the industry as a whole.

Barbara Levy, President of LIA, emphasized the critical role of the Jury Presidents in shaping the judging process, stating, “What the LIA jurors do in the judging rooms is serious business.” The extensive selection process ensures that the chosen Presidents, admired and respected by their peers, possess the talent and knowledge to drive the industry to new heights. Terry Savage, Chairperson of LIA, underscored the importance of leadership within the jury, acknowledging the cultural nuances that come into play during a global award show. Approximately 200 jury members from around the world will converge in Las Vegas to participate in the judging process, with each panel tasked with reviewing every piece of work in their respective category. The onsite judging process at the Encore @ Wynn Hotel guarantees that all judges are fully engaged from start to finish and are privy to the final results before they are made public.

The 2024 LIA Jury Presidents represent a diverse range of categories, showcasing expertise across various realms of creativity. Till Diestel, Chief Creative Officer of Serviceplan Germany in Munich, will preside over Ambient & Activation, Billboard, Poster, and Print categories. Laura Rapela, Executive Creative Director of GUT Buenos Aires, will lead the Audio & Radio category. Meanwhile, Juan Woodbury, North America Creative & Entertainment Lead at Ogilvy in New York, will oversee Branded Content and Branded Entertainment.

Other notable Jury Presidents include Suzanne Powers of Powers Creativity in New York, who will be responsible for Creative Strategy and Transformative Business Impact, and Joji Jacob, Regional Chief Creative Officer SEA & NA at Havas, who will lend expertise to the Creativity In B2B category. Each President brings their unique perspective and expertise to guide the judging panels.

This esteemed group of individuals will play a vital role in assessing the submitted work and determining the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Statue Winners, as well as the finalists. Additionally, they have the discretion to award a prestigious Grand LIA.
