Indemnification

Cincinnati, Ohio – Nissan North America Inc. has been denied indemnification from its brake parts supplier, Continental Automotive Systems Inc., after a jury awarded millions of dollars in a case where the faulty braking system of a Nissan Infiniti caused a fatal crash. The Sixth Circuit ruled that Nissan is not entitled to seek compensation from Continental.
