Boston, MA – The juries for the 2024 WARC Awards for North America in partnership with LIONS have been announced, bringing together industry experts and brand leaders to judge marketing campaigns in the region. The awards celebrate strategic brilliance and effective impact in marketing, with a focus on showcasing the best campaigns.
John Bizzell, Awards Lead at WARC, emphasized the importance of having a diverse and knowledgeable group of professionals to judge the entries, stating that their expertise and cultural insights would greatly enhance the judging process.
The juries for the WARC Awards North America 2024 have been formed across several categories, including Brand Purpose, Business-to-Business, Cultural Impact, Customer Experience, Instant Impact, and Long-term Growth. These juries consist of influential figures from renowned global and local brands, such as Autodesk, Dentsu Creative, and Leo Burnett.
Other categories include Channel Integration, Channel Pioneer, Partnerships & Sponsorships, Path to Purchase, and Use of Data. These juries will be chaired by industry leaders from NBCUniversal, Mx Planning, and Initiative, among others.
In addition, there is a new category called Strategic Thinking, which will be chaired by Susan Irving, Chief Marketing Officer at Kruger Products Inc. This category aims to recognize campaigns that demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking.
The juries will award Gold, Silver, and Bronze accolades across the 12 categories, using the frameworks provided by the WARC/LIONS Creative Effectiveness and B2B Effectiveness Ladders as benchmarks. The regional Gold winners will be considered for the highly coveted Grands Prix, which will be selected by a super jury consisting of the chairs from all the regional awards.
The deadline for entries is February 6, 2024, and the winners will be announced between May 20 and 25 of the same year. The Global Grand Prix winners will be revealed during the Cannes Lions Week.
