New York Festivals Unveils Elite Panel for First-Ever AME Greater China Awards, Spotlighting Top Creative Minds

New York, USA — In a significant nod to its 30th anniversary, the AME Awards, known for recognizing worldwide marketing and advertising effectiveness, has introduced an elite panel of judges for its newly established AME Greater China Awards. This decision underscores an expanding geographic focus, aiming to highlight and reward creative marketing strategies that have made a marked impact in the Greater China region.

This year, the AME Greater China Awards Executive Jury will gather a distinguished group of Chinese agency and brand executives, each with a proven track record in the industry. These professionals are celebrated not only for their creative achievements but also for their acute understanding of how effective marketing strategies can influence consumer actions and produce quantifiable outcomes.

Selected from a vast pool of talent across Greater China, these jurors will evaluate submissions in a two-stage process. Initially, an online session will be conducted to shortlist candidates, which will be followed by an in-person live panel discussion to determine the winners. This rigorous assessment process ensures that only the most innovative and effective marketing campaigns rise to the top.

Gayle Seminara Mandel, VP Executive Director at the AME Awards & AMe Greater China Awards, expressed her gratitude towards the jurors, highlighting their significant industry experience and their roles as strategic thinkers who have consistently led their teams to success in notoriously competitive markets.

The inaugural jury lineup for the Executive Jury includes notable figures such as Ida Siow from Ogilvy Asia and Alice Chou of Dentsu Creative. The panel also features Michael Dee of United Communications Group, Yorf Guo from BlueFocus Group, and Haibo Huang of Shanghai Tian Yu Kong Advertising Agency, among others. Each brings a unique perspective and expertise, enriching the judging process with diverse insights into creative and strategic marketing.

The live jury sessions are set to commence on July 10, with the final panel occurring on July 28 at Shanghai Jiaotong University. This gathering will not only determine the 2024 winners but will also serve as a forum for discussing evolving trends and strategies in the marketing realm within Greater China.

Results from these sessions will be compiled in the annual AME Report, which provides a comprehensive ranking of outstanding agencies and brands from over 30 countries and will include a special section dedicated to top performers in Greater China. Such insights are invaluable as they provide benchmarks and inspiration for agencies and brands worldwide in their quest for excellence.

The deadline for entries is set for July 7, making it an urgent call for firms aiming to showcase their best work. Those interested in participating or seeking further details about competition rules and categories can find more information on the AME Awards official website.

This expansion of the AME Awards to include a dedicated jury for Greater China not only highlights the importance of the Asian market in the global advertising and marketing sectors but also encourages local brands to elevate their creativity and effectiveness to meet international standards.
