Christian County Grand Jury Returns Indictments on Assault, Robbery, and Theft Charges

Hopkinsville, Kentucky – The Christian County Grand Jury has issued numerous indictments, covering charges of theft, assault, and robbery. Among those indicted is Zyair Clack, a resident of Hopkinsville, who now faces charges of second-degree assault, kidnapping, and first-degree robbery. The charges stem from an incident on October 24, where Clack allegedly injured an individual, unlawfully restrained the victim, and threatened to use physical force while armed with a deadly weapon during a theft. Clack’s arrest took place in January after a pursuit by Madisonville Police, who discovered that he was a convicted felon wanted on robbery, kidnapping, and assault charges in Christian County.

Bishop Howard, a resident of Hopkinsville, has also been indicted on charges of theft. Howard is accused of stealing mail from the Christian County Clerk’s Office on two separate occasions, as well as two boxes of motor vehicle registration plates from the County Clerk’s drop box. The indictment includes two counts of theft of mail matter and 100 counts of theft of motor vehicle registration plates.

Additionally, Daniel Huff from Clarksville, Tennessee, has been indicted on charges of theft and burglary. It is alleged that Huff unlawfully entered the property of L&M Contracting and took three trucks belonging to the company, with a value exceeding $10,000.

Another individual facing charges is Amber Martin from Madisonville, Tennessee, who has been indicted on charges of receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia. Martin was arrested in December following a traffic stop prompted by the city’s surveillance cameras alerting the police to a stolen vehicle. Martin allegedly admitted to taking the vehicle and not returning it when requested by the owner.

Furthermore, Kathy Jackson from Hopkinsville is facing charges of theft. The indictment accuses Jackson of taking $1,055 from Circle K on April 9th.
