LOS ANGELES – Twice-convicted murderer Walter Joseph Lewis is set to be released on parole in California under the state’s Elderly Parole Law. Lewis, now 76, committed his first murder in 1965 when he stabbed a man to death at the age of 18. He was sentenced to 13 years in prison for the crime.
