AME Awards Unveils Elite Jury for Greater China’s Marketing Excellence Celebration

New York — This year marks the 30th anniversary of the AME Awards, celebrating the best in advertising and marketing effectiveness. In recognition of this milestone, the festival’s organizers are introducing the first-ever AMK Greater China Awards Executive Jury. This elite panel, made up of top executives from Chinese agencies and brands, is celebrated for their profound achievements in the field, setting themselves apart with their renowned expertise in highlighting creative campaigns that effectively tackle marketing challenges, inspire action, and deliver measurable outcomes.

The executive jury, carefully selected from across Greater China, embodies a wealth of experience in the advertising and marketing industries. These jurors are not just leaders; they are shapers of market trends and custodians of creativity who have consistently demonstrated their ability to drive exceptional results through innovative strategies and creative excellence.

The decision-making process is structured into two rigorous phases ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of each entry. Initially, an online session will be conducted to shortlist the most promising campaigns. This will be followed by a live panel discussion, where the winners of the 2024 AME Greater China Awards will be determined through thoughtful and detailed deliberations.

“I’m extremely grateful to these industry leaders whose deep understanding of the role effectiveness plays will share their invaluable experience on the AME Greater China Executive Jury panel,” expressed Gayle Seminara Mandel, VP executive director, AME Awards & AME Greater China Awards. “Their award-winning reputation as honored creative strategists and their commitment to cutting-edge campaigns that deliver tangible results ensure that the most creative and effective work is recognized and honored.”

Leading the jury is Ida Siow, senior planning partner at Ogilvy Asia. The panel also includes luminaries such as Alice Chou, chief creative officer at Dentsu Creative; Michael Dee, chief creative officer at United Communications Group; Yorf Guo, chief strategy officer at BlueFocus Group; and Haibo Huang, co-founder and CCO at Shanghai Tian Yu Kong Advertising Agency, among others.

The sessions are scheduled to start on July 10, with the final live panel taking place on July 28 at Shanghai Jiaotong University. This provides an intense period of scrutiny and discussion, ensuring that only the most deserving campaigns emerge victorious.

Each year, the outcomes of these sessions are compiled in the AME Report, a prestigious annual ranking report that celebrates outstanding agencies and brands from around the globe. The 2023 edition of the report covered achievements from 30 different countries, showcasing a broad spectrum of talent and strategic acumen.

Looking ahead, the 2024 AME Report will include a special feature focusing on the top-scoring agencies and brands awarded in Greater China, providing an insightful supplement to the global rankings.

The final deadline for entries into the AME Greater China Awards is set for July 7. Anyone interested can find detailed information about the competition, including rules, regulations, categories, and entry guidelines on the official AME website.

This initiative signals not only a celebration of 30 years of achievements in the global advertising and marketing spheres but also a strategic move to recognize and elevate the creative and strategic work emerging from Greater China, further solidifying its position in the global arena of advertising excellence.
