Cuba Gooding Jr. Added to Sexual Assault Lawsuit Involving Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs: New Accusations Surface in Federal Investigation

MIAMI, Florida — The federal sex-trafficking investigation surrounding music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is taking a new turn. Rodney Jones, a music producer who had previously sued Combs for sexual assault in February, is now adding Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. to his complaint. Jones, also known as Lil Rod, alleges that Gooding sexually harassed and assaulted him, including incidents on Combs’ yacht. Jones’ original lawsuit claimed that Combs forced him to engage in unwelcome sexual acts and procure sex workers.

According to Jones’ lawsuit, Combs also reportedly admitted to being responsible for the notorious 1999 New York City nightclub shooting, which led to the arrests of Combs, Jennifer Lopez, and rapper Jamal “Shyne” Barrow. Although Barrow was charged with the shooting and sentenced to prison, Combs faced weapons charges. One shooting victim, Natania Reuben, stated that Combs shot her in the face that night.

Jones’ lawsuit is one of several legal challenges that Combs currently faces. Meanwhile, Gooding settled a civil sexual abuse case in New York City just before trial. In recent developments, law enforcement officials have not arrested Combs after conducting raids on his properties in Los Angeles and Miami, but they have arrested his alleged drug “mule,” Brendan Paul, on drug possession charges. Paul was taken into custody at Miami’s Opa-Locka Airport.

Combs’ whereabouts are currently unknown, and his representatives and attorneys assert his innocence. Attorney Aaron Dyer condemned the searches as an excessive use of military-level force and affirmed Combs’ determination to clear his name. During the raid at Combs’ Los Angeles home, his sons Justin Combs and Christian “King” Combs were briefly detained outside.

As the investigation unfolds, questions remain about the extent of Combs’ involvement and the outcome of the legal proceedings. Gooding Jr.’s team has not yet responded to the allegations in Jones’ lawsuit. The case continues to draw public attention as new details emerge, and this further complicates the already complex legal situation surrounding Combs.
