Los Angeles, California – Nigel Lythgoe, the creator of “So You Think You Can Dance,” is leaving the show following allegations of sexual assault made against him by Paula Abdul. Lythgoe, who is also a former producer on “American Idol,” has denied the claims. In a lawsuit filed in California last December, Abdul accused Lythgoe of sexually assaulting her on two occasions.
