OMAHA, Neb. — The owner of a local convenience store has been placed on probation following a plea related to the sale of illegal drugs. Yaser Shohatee, who owns Goodies Convenience Store located near 90th and Maple, received a 24-month probation sentence after pleading no contest to attempted possession with intent to distribute earlier this year.
