The Virginia General Assembly selected Adams for the position, which covers the City of Danville, Pittsylvania County, and Franklin County. Franklin Resident Sentenced to 40 Months in Prison for Violating Federal Firearms Law

Franklin, Pennsylvania – A Franklin resident has been sentenced to 40 months in prison for violating federal firearms law. Philip John Dechant, a 40-year-old convicted felon, was found guilty of owning multiple firearms around April 2020, in violation of the law that prohibits convicted felons from possessing firearms or ammunition. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania reported that Dechant’s sentence was handed down on January 18.
