PARKERSBURG, West Virginia – Melody Ann Anderson, a resident of Waverly, has been indicted on charges of murder, concealment of a deceased human body, as well as 21 counts of fraudulent use of an access device. She is accused of killing a man and hiding his body. The charges against Anderson stem from an investigation into the disappearance of Robert Marshall Throckmorton, who was reported missing by his family in May 2022. Oak Grove, Kentucky – A grand jury in Christian County returned multiple indictments on Friday, including charges related to sex crimes and wanton endangerment. Among those indicted is Jason Bartee, a 34-year-old resident of Oak Grove, who is facing two counts of third-degree sodomy, attempted third-degree sodomy, first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, and illegal sexual activity with a victim under 18 years old.
