Brooklyn Jury Clears Hospital and Surgeon in High-Stakes Medical Malpractice Suit Over Leg Amputation
Brooklyn, N.Y. — A Kings County Supreme Court Civil Term jury concluded a medical malpractice trial last week regarding plaintiff M. Rowland’s leg amputation, ultimately ruling in favor of the defendants including a noted orthopedic surgeon and New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The case was presided over by Hon. Wavny Toussaint, with Robert Godosky representing the plaintiff and Scott Singer defending the orthopedic surgeon.
